This simple and healthy brownie recipe is an excellent way to get your kids to eat healthy stuff while savoring one of their favorite desserts. It is guilt-free sweet indulgence for us too. Here we go:
1 ripe avocado
1/2 cup unsweetened apple sauce
1/2 cup maple syrup or honey
1/2 cup coconut flour
1/2 cocoa powder (unsweetened, raw)
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp baking soda
a pinch of salt
Preheat oven t 350F (220C). Mix together avocado, apple sauce, vanilla and maple syrup until smooth (avocado should be pretty ripe). Beat the eggs and add to the mixture. Then combine with coconut powder, cocoa powder, salt and baking soda. Combine well.
Grease a 8X8 banking dish or round glass baking pan and pour the mixture, spread well. Bake for 25 minutes. Let rest for 10 minutes before cutting into squares. Enjoy, as my kids do!
