On a recent hot and sunny Sunday, we opted for touring an amazing mansion and estate of a prominent Washington Peter family called Tudor Place, located in the heart of Georgetown. While the mansion housed many pieces of furniture and other valuable mementos, a testament to a life of the family of such standing , the gardens were just breathtaking. Come and take a walk with us…

Many nice shady spots to enjoy that afternoon ice tea!
As we admired the bird bath, a birdy came by to take a quick dip in the bath but I did not have time to capture it..

Cooling off at the pond
You instantly feel more relaxed just walking around in this urban oasis – no need for yoga class or meditation!

Wrought iron fence detail and the shadows
And some more snaps from a tranquil afternoon. Hope you enjoyed it!
